Social Certification Client Coordinator
The Social Certification Client Coordinator
is responsible for managing the oversight, scheduling, and
reporting of the supervision of SAAS-accredited Certification
Bodies, including for the SA8000 standard, BSCI code audits
and the InterAction child labor standard. The Coordinator
also monitors, analyzes and reports SA8000 certifications,
trends and projections for internal and public use.
Leah Rye is SAAS’s Social Certification
Client Coordinator and brings an experience with the accreditation
process to the position. She comes most recently from the
Council on Accreditation, a child and family service accrediting
body, where she was employed as a Volunteer Services Coordinator.
Prior to this, she worked for an HIV/AIDS service agency in
the capacity of Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator. Leah holds
her degree in Communication Studies from West Virginia University.
